Stamp Triptych Assignment #10

Artist Reflection #10:
In the next assignment we had to create 3 stamps, each a different style.  The strongest aspect of my work is my text stamp. I believe my text stamp is the strongest because it is visually the most appealing to the eye. In my text stamp, I had to include my own text corresponding with Gronkowski. An aspect of my work I could improve on is my color scheme. I could work on my color scheme more because my theme is Gronkowski, or the Patriots. The official colors for the patriots are red, white, and blue. However, I could represent more of that color scheme in some of my stamps.
An easy aspect of this activity is the layout of the stamps. When we first began the assignment, the first work we needed to create was a stamp template. This seemed to easily be the easiest part of beginning the assignment. The most difficult part of this activity was bringing the entire work together. Meaning, combining each stamp into each document. Not only was it difficult to place all three stamps into one topic. But you also needed to make sure the stamps appear well together.
In this art activity, the objective was to create a series of three multi-layered postage stamps that are visually connected by color and theme. I displayed the objective by creating three stamps all with the same theme of Gronkowski. Each of my stamps were also connected by color because I used the Patriots colors throughout my stamps. If I were to do this project again, I would make the same stamp triptych, but with a different style. This meaning, instead of Gronkowski, I would try a different theme. In conclusion, in the next assignment we had to create 3 stamps, each a different style, minimalist, repetition, and text.
